Surveillance DVR Viewer & Software Downloads.Surveillance DVR Software Downloads

Someone please help me in finding some software or telling me that im doing wrong! The software is almost always tied to the capture card. You won’t have much luck trying to mix and match. First thing you need to do is list what brand and model card you’re trying to use so that someone might be able to help you.

Most DVR cards work with the software that was provided with it, there really isn’t any need to check device manager as long as you follow the directions that it came with unless it didn’t, in that case I will simply send it back. Thanks for the replies. I did some searching on google and found some extra drivers for that PCI DVR card and some programs can now see the Card and to view the camera.

I am currently running LuxRiot software as a demo, but that program isnt really working correctly. I want a program that when it detects motion, it will automatically starting recording and I can play it back. I also left the recorder on from 5pm to 10pm today, and it only recorded about 2 minutes of video, and most of it didnt even record! Was wondering if you could point me to some places with software that I can try with a demo and cheaply priced.

You need to be a member in order to leave a comment. Verified Purchase. It was easy enough to install the card and get the server running, but the remote viewing is another story. This card is very different from the QLR Mind you, there’s only about a 30 day window to return this for a full refund. The tech and I tried everything and he said he’d have to call me back after checking into it.

I finally rebooted my PC and it worked I was able to view my cameras over the Internet at work that Tues, but when I got home and tried to view them on my laptop, I kept getting the page not found error.

That continued the next day at work, so that evening I called tech support back. After another 20 minute hold, I got someone. Again, we tried everything and it turns out they had to refresh something on their end not sure what and it worked Same problem as before.

Couldn’t get through by phone and sent a long e-mail to them with explicit details on the problem and previous solution. I got a response asking if my pc was on with the server running and to be sure it wasn’t going into sleep mode. Pretty insulting, but I responded that no, that wasn’t the problem. Still no response, and now I only have days to return this for a full refund, so I have no choice.

It could be a simple fix, but I can’t risk it. Will try out the Qsee card, which is expandable anyway. I hope my existing Lorex BNC cameras can work with it. Oh, I could never get the VistaPro6 client working and never got a chance to ask tech support about it. If the remote internet viewing had worked, I wouldn’t even need to use the client. Perhaps the same reason that the remote internet viewing stopped working caused the client not to work I’m now using one called No IP. After two consecutive days, I have not had any issues with remote viewing so I have decided to keep this card.

If I could, I’d change my rating to 3 stars. The negatives are due mainly to their tech support. By the way, they never did respond to my last response to them. This card is just what I needed, It’s software is very customizable, with a lot of settings.

I am using it on a computer with a AMD Athlon dual core 3. At first when I was testing the playback I discovered you have to click on the calendar day, in order to view it. The playback goes only to 8X, but that’s no big deal. While using DVR security camera systems, remember that your picture quality is dependent upon your camera quality, frame rate of system, light especially at night , video card, and type of cable used between camera and system, to name a few factors. For the price, and software with it, I think it’s a good deal.

Product works as advertised on a pc. The software that runs this card implies that you can have four cards in the same computer for a total of 16 channels. Unfortunately the software does not support four cards but only one for a total of 4 channels. If you only need four channels and never plane to upgrade and add more then this card will do.

Item arrived early, definitely a plus! Works wonderfully in a Zoneminder box running Ubuntu What I ordered when I ordered it. Thanks you very much. You get what you pay for Support on the Devil’s version is provided to those that have already spent money for the knockoff cards and software from a CCTV dealer, not knowing they were buying modified software. Since they have already paid, they deserve every chance to get their configuration working.

However, even they will find the pricing of the new licensed release fair, and decide it is worth paying again to have a fully functional, stable version of Pico See the Pico Production Version 1.

The developers have even adjusted their pricing to make the software affordable to everyone. Center Link International offers a 30 day shareware trial of their finalized Pico software.

They describe their PICO 1. This trial version may be downloaded from their website. The software works with the UCC4 cards even if device drivers are not loaded for the cards in Windows. This has been reported to be true for all versions of Pico, however, it is verified for version 1.

Download the free trial and you will see how much more stable and better it functions as compared to the devil’s version. Warning before purchasing: this is one of those software that only works with a specific installation instance on a particular computer.

The key is married to the system itself. This is referred to as the fragile greed registration system, because, if the system crashes or hardware requires replacing, the key you purchased and paid for becomes invalid. As a general rule it is not recommended to purchase software with such strong anti-copy protection, that your own system crashing can cause you to lose your registration rights even though you have paid for the software.

The most common scenario is that your motherboard dies, and even though you cloned the system with something like Norton Ghost, you find that your motherboard is no longer manufactured. You purchase the closest motherboard to what you had. Now your Pico software no longer functions because replacing that hardware invalidated your license.

The developers will not rekey your registered version even though you paid. There’s a theoretical work around to the problem Use VMware. Create a virtual instance of Windows and then install Pico on the virtual instance.

To a VMware instance of Windows, all device drivers are the same without regards to the actual hardware of the system. This way if you find you have to replace a key piece of hardware, your licensed version of Pico will, theoretically, not be invalidated. This is an alternative to the PICO software.

It does more, uses web based management, and is easier to install and configure. The Dico software is no longer maintained. Their web site offers multiple versions to download for free.
