Bombay Dyeing, an Indian textile company, has posted increase in its total income to Rs.396.13 cr in the third quarter (Q3) FY21 that ended on December 31, 2020, compared to income of Rs.389.61 cr in same quarter previous fiscal. Company incurred a loss for the period after tax of Rs.82.46 cr compared to profit of Rs.162.98 cr in Q3 FY20.

Company’s total expenses for the period dropped to Rs.511.37 cr (Q3 FY20: Rs.527.77 cr). Total comprehensive loss for Q3 FY21 was Rs.31.85 cr (profit: Rs.101.12 cr).

Revenue of Polyester segment was Rs.219.30 cr (Rs.271.30 cr). Retail/Textile segment revenue slipped to Rs.14.11 cr (Rs.46.25 cr).
