Until recently, we were quite optimistic that we could hold DOMOTEX in January. We have a comprehensive hygiene and safety concept and a very positive number of registrations. But the latest developments on the COVID-19 pandemic show that the situation will not improve significantly until January 2021. We have a responsibility to all of our long-standing customers and are committed to acting responsibly. From numerous exchanges with exhibitors and partners, we have learned that above all we have to ensure planning security at an early stage. The feedback from our exhibitors and visitors so far has been consistently positive and shows that postponing DOMOTEX 2021 to May is exactly the right decision.
“COVER NEW GROUND” is the keynote theme of DOMOTEX 2021! With the corresponding change of perspective, DOMOTEX 2021 will take place as a hybrid event for the first time, i.e. the physical event will be supplemented by digital formats. Another news is that DOMOTEX 2021 will take place from Thursday to Saturday. In this way, we meet the needs and wishes of our attendees, in particular, to arrange the appointment over two consecutive working days.
