With the hiring of four executives, Trident Group has declared “all systems go” in its effort to increase its US business. Luis Hernandez has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Hernandez is a 30-year veteran of the textiles industry, having worked for Loftex, Richloom and Cone Mills in previous positions.
The company has also hired Jennifer Polikoff as Vice President of bedding design. Polikoff’s 20-year career includes positions with Victoria Classics, Kohl’s, Target and Nostalgia Home Fashions. Also new to the Trident team is Carla Grosso, who has been appointed Vice President of bath design. Grosso comes to the company with a background that includes positions with Createx, Sunvim and Macy’s Merchandising Group.
Trident has also named Jhony Pamnani Director of operations, in charge of domestic replenishment and ecommerce fulfillment. Pamnani’s experience includes overseeing logistics, imports, demand and supply planning, and replenishment.
“The addition of these four key members’ marks a defining moment in the continuing evolution of the Trident Group,” said Jeffrey Kambak, Trident’s CEO of US operations. “Since opening up the US office nearly four years ago, we have been continuously evaluating and improving our approach to serve the US market. It’s a complicated task to build a structure to serve an industry that is changing as rapidly as the retail landscape is, but Trident continuously proves that it can take on the challenge”.
