US bedding specialist BedGear has developed a new GermShield mattress and pillow cover set, to offer customers protection from allergens, bacteria and microbes whilst they sleep. The products, which leverage technologies from Swedish antimicrobial solutions specialist Polygiene, are said to provide 99.9 percent protection from contaminants.
Eugene Alletto, the Founder of BedGear, said: “Given the current health situation, the GermShield mattress and pillow cover set ads to consumers’ overall safety and comfort. They have peace of mind knowing they are sleeping on a bedding surface that not only has an allergen barrier but also helps inhibit the spreading of germs and bacteria.”
Alletto has tipped the mattress and cover set for all bedding needs, from Air BnBs – where the host welcomes new guests throughout the week – to family homes and college dorms.
BedGear has also called upon its GermShield technology to develop new face masks, available in fitted and pleated shapes. They use Dri-Tec moisture-wicking fabrics to prevent heat build-up which would otherwise support the breeding of bacteria.
