Bengaluru-based garment and home textile manufacturer Indian Design is now fully owned by OfBusiness following the acquisition of the remaining 30% stake previously held by minority shareholders. The move consolidates OfBusiness’s apparel division, integrating Indian Design into a diversified platform that already spans metals, chemicals, agri-processing, and apparel.
Indian Design, which generates annual revenues of around ₹1,300 crore, supplies apparel and home textile products to leading global brands including H&M, GAP, Old Navy, Columbia, and IKEA. With the full acquisition, OfBusiness strengthens its export-driven apparel portfolio.
Combined with OfBusiness’s existing partnerships with Zara, Uniqlo, Adidas, and Skechers, the apparel vertical is now estimated to have reached approximately ₹3,000 crore in revenue, with nearly 80% derived from exports. This positions the company as a significant player in India’s large-scale textile manufacturing and global supply chain ecosystem.
The acquisition comes at a time when OfBusiness is reportedly preparing for a $1 billion IPO, comprising a mix of fresh share issuance and an Offer for Sale (OFS). The company has already taken steps toward public listing by transitioning into a public entity.
OfBusiness recently raised ₹100 crore (~$11.7 million) in a funding round led by Cornerstone Ventures, adding to the more than $662 million it has raised across previous rounds. Its last major fundraise—$325 million led by Alpha Wave, Tiger Global, and SoftBank—valued the company at $5 billion.
With Indian Design now fully integrated, OfBusiness aims to accelerate growth across its apparel vertical while strengthening its export network and bolstering its public-market readiness.
