The newly published Corona Ordinance of the State of Lower Saxony is the starting signal for physical events at the exhibition grounds in Hannover. With the “3G regulation” and a corresponding safety and hygiene concept, trade fairs and events in Lower Saxony are permitted, with immediate effect.

“With the new Corona Regulation in Lower Saxony, the long-awaited re-launch of trade fairs and events of all types and sizes in Hannover, can now start again for Deutsche Messe and all its guest organisers,” said Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Messe AG.

The core of the Lower Saxony Corona Regulation for trade fairs and events is formed by the 3G regulation, individual safety and hygiene concepts for all types of events, the generally applicable AHA rules and a digital registration obligation for all persons participating.

He added, “In combination with a safety and hygiene concept, coordinated with the Hannover Region Health Office, trade fairs and events at the Hannover Exhibition entre are possible again for vaccinated, recovered and tested participants.”

With the new Corona Ordinance in Lower Saxony, Deutsche Messe is taking advantage of a trade fair and event-friendly, long-term regulation. Köckler commented, “Both for our upcoming guest events, EUHA Congress, INTERGEO, Bio Nord and ero Famein September, as well as for our own events CMM in November and Pferd & Jagdin December, the new Corona Ordinance of the State of Lower Saxony provides the necessary tailwind and enables all event formats to have a solid planning basis.”

The prospects are also good for the new exhibition year 2022 and the upcoming trade fairs Domotex, Agritechnica, Hannover Messe and Interschutz:

“Under the newly applicable framework conditions of Lower Saxony’s Corona Ordinance, both smaller events and conference trade fairs as well as large-scale events are once again possible on our grounds. The risk of having to cancel aplanned trade fair or event on our exhibition grounds at short notice is therefore almost non-existent in the future,” Köcklerel aborated.

Currently, on the exhibition grounds in Hannover, all precautions are being taken to ensure the safe running of all fairs.
