US' Cotton Works introduces tech to enhance the durability and function of cotton productsUS-based Cotton Incorporated’s CottonWorks programme has introduced various technology and manufacturing innovations to enhance the durability and function of cotton products. The RESTech Cotton technology is intended for performance sheeting, TransDRY technology for activewear, and Storm Cotton technology for outdoor wear.

Research showed that 82 percent of consumers feel they can rely on any brand or product labelled with the Seal of Cotton, according to CottonWorks.

The RESTech Cotton technology is a new performance solution for bedding that blends cool comfort, superior durability, luxurious softness, and sustainability into one fabric. RESTech Cotton bedding is also naturally hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin.

TransDRY technology is a technically advanced cotton fabric that combines comfort with moisture-wicking performance.

Storm Cotton technology is a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that can be applied to any cotton garment and is designed to keep wearers dry, cool, and comfortable in most outdoor settings. It allows garments to maintain breathability while providing protection from the elements.

Cotton Incorporated will be showcasing its products at several events—Denim Manufacturing & Garment Finishing in Cary, North Carolina from November 7–8; Understanding Fabric Defects on November 14 and Understanding Product Defects on November 15 in New York; and the Functional Fabric Fair in Portland, Oregon on November 1–2 in booth 312.
